DORTMUND, Germany (AP) – Bayern Munich star Harry Kane was injured in the first half of the “der Klassiker” match played at Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

The England captain was substituted in the 33rd minute. He appeared to be walking normally, then signaled the Bayern bench and sat on the pitch, rubbing the back of his right leg. He received initial treatment for what appeared to be a right hamstring injury.

Thomas Müller replaced Kane in the match, which saw Bayern trail 1-0 thanks to a goal from Jamie Gittens six minutes earlier.

It was Bayern’s first goal conceded in eight matches in all competitions, and the gap between the teams was 1-0 at half-time.

Kane has 14 goals in 12 matches in the Bundesliga this season. Bavaria’s strong player scored 20 goals in all competitions.
