Houston man accused of fatally stabbing 28-year-old woman and 2-year-old girl

HOUSTON, Texas (KWTX) – A Houston man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbings of a 28-year-old woman and a 2-year-old girl, Houston police said.

Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, 29, is charged with capital murder.

Police said officers found the woman and the toddler around 3:10 a.m. on Nov. 29 in the 12300 block of Richmond Avenue.

According to police, officers were flagged down by a citizen who reported that a woman and child were being held hostage in an apartment.

Police said when they went to the apartment they found Fisher asleep on the couch.

A search of the apartment was conducted, where police said officers found the woman and the toddler.

Both victims suffered multiple stab wounds, and Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced them dead at the scene, according to police. The identities of the victims were not released by police.

After arresting Fisher, police said they noticed he had injuries consistent with a physical fight and had blood on his clothing.

Fisher was later charged with capital murder and booked into the Harris County Jail.
