But the pair cooled off their feud after filming, as Day-Lewis explained: “But after that we got to know each other a little bit, and I like him a lot as a man – which always helps – but as an actor, I think he’s without a doubt the best guy working right now.” “He is one of the promising young players.”

There is probably no greater appreciation for a player like Dano. The youngster has become a hugely successful player when given the opportunity, and with more roles following this monumental moment, there’s a good chance Dano will end his career as respected as Day-Lewis; he definitely thinks so.
