Security guard stabbed in SF on Thanksgiving night, suspect at large

(KRON) – A security guard was hospitalized after being stabbed on Thanksgiving night, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

At 8:52 p.m., San Francisco police officers responded to the 100 block of First Street for a report of a stabbing. According to police, responding officers found the victim to have “significant stab wounds.”

It was learned that the injured person’s life was in danger and he was taken to a local hospital.

SFPD said officers located a suspect matching the suspect’s description near Market and Battery Streets.

The police determined that the person was not the perpetrator. However, due to two outstanding warrants for out of county and possession of drug paraphernalia, he was arrested and booked into the San Francisco County Jail.

There have been no arrests in connection with the stabbing, according to SFPD.
