Over the past few weeks, Houston The region has witnessed an alarming series of family tragedies where disputes between siblings have turned deadly.

Three separate incidents involving siblings have left a trail of pain and unanswered questions, shedding a bleak light on the devastating impact of family conflict.

November 17: Deadly altercation in northern Harris County

A family argument in northern Harris County escalated into a deadly confrontation earlier this month. On Nov. 17, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 18200 block of Chisholm Trail, where they found: Jyzell Atlee, 21He is seriously injured with a knife. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.

Investigators took Jyzell’s younger brother into custody. Keion Atlee, 17at the scene. The situation worsened when Jyzell, who was initially charged with aggravated assault, succumbed to his injuries on November 23. murderand Keion remains in custody while the investigation continues.

Authorities are still trying to piece together details of the fight, including why some people reportedly fled the scene before deputies arrived.

November 25: Fatal error in Tomball

Around the same time, another family tragedy occurred in Tomball. When a group of young people gathered in a barn to drink one night, the firearm in their hands turned the meeting into a nightmare.

Officials say Rhyder Tettleton, 17While holding the gun, he accidentally shot his 16-year-old younger brother. Eyewitnesses described the terrible moment when the little brother cried: “I think I’m going to die. Help me! Help me!” before collapsing.

Rhyder initially denied involvement, but later admitted firing the gun thinking it was unloaded. He also admitted to helping hide the firearms after the incident. Now facing second degree manslaughter is being charged and is being held on a $50,000 bond.

November 29: Horrifying scene in West Houston

A string of sibling-related violence culminated in a grisly double murder in West Houston. On Nov. 29, police were alerted to a hostage situation at an apartment complex in the 12000 block of Richmond Avenue.

Cops discovered a horrific scene in the apartment: A 28-year-old woman and her 2-year-old daughter had been fatally stabbed. Blood evidence at the scene shows: Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, 29The woman’s brother and the child’s uncle were found asleep on the couch.

Fisher was taken into custody and criminal charges were filed capital murder. He remains jailed on $200,000 bail and court proceedings will begin in early December.
